Fire Systems

As part of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 premises with 5 or more employees must have a written fire risk assessment. If your premises has a fire system, an external service company must maintain it.

BML provide an installation and maintenance service for your fire detection systems. We hope you never need to use it but knowing that BML have serviced your alarm system may help you sleep at night.

Our technicians carry out full maintenance inspections in accordance with British Standards, confirming the status of your system, and record all relevant details in your Fire Logbook.

Fire Extinguishers

It’s essential that you have your fire extinguishers serviced on a regular basis to maintain their full functionality and to meet your legal obligations.

Our service schedule includes a service check by our FIA or FETA certified technicians. They will check your premises not only meet the standards for your fire extinguishers (BS 5306-3:2009), but they will also check it meets signage standards (BS 5499) as well.

Upon completion we will issue a certificate of inspection, an asset registers along with any recommendations. All works are also logged in your onsite fire logbook.

CCTV & Intruder Alarms

We provide a full range of intruder alarm and CCTV and Intruder Alarm products. These all meet or exceed the current British Standard requirements.

Our CCTV and Intruder systems can interface with the fire alarm to allow for a fully integrated system if required.

We offer a 24/7 all year-round service with 24hr telephone support. This is supplemented with a regular service plan to ensure your system is in full working order.
